Dear Valued Customer,
Pac West Food Inc has, and always will, consider our relationship with the communities in which we work a top priority. Good corporate citizenship is one of our most important values. To that end, we have sought out and contributed to local charities where we know the need is greatest. Our donations of food to local food banks help those groups feed local people who depend upon these services. We also conduct fundraisers for youth groups and women's and children's shelters. Some organizations we have partnered with are The Idaho Youth Ranch and the Las Vegas Mission. We are pleased to help where and when we are able.

Northside Catering
Dear Pac West,
Northside Catering is a student run business designed to develop career skills which students will be able to use throughout their lifetime, such as food/cooking safety and how to successfully work as a team in an organized manner. This experience will give the students qualities they need to work real jobs. This business is run at North Eugene.
Presently Northside Catering is planning a Tail Gate event during a basketball game at North Eugene High School. We will be having a barbeque before the game and special seating for the alumni during the game.
We would like to request a donation 36lbs of hamburger patties. Our basketball team is #1 in the state, and we are playing against Churchill High School, who also is one of the top teams in the state. This is a great opportunity for you to advertise your product to the community, as well as support student run catering program. Thi s dona tion would be a great help to us and we thank you very much for your time.

PAC WEST FOOD for Lane County
Dear Pac West Food,
I would like to thank you on behalf of all of us here at FOOD for Lane County for your donation of 341 pounds of assorted frozen meats. This doantion is especially appreciated because we receive very limited amounts of protein in this form, and meat is very appreciated by the families that we lend assistance to.
Your company serves as a role model for all other distributors of perishable and frozen products. Too many times businesses in the food industry restrict these kinds of donations because of the liability and food safety concerns. FOOD for Lane County meets the same standards and food handling regulations that hotel, caterers and restaurants do. We make sure that every precaution is taken to ensure that your donation is handled properly and that it stays in the hands of professionals until it is prepared for consumption.
FOOD for Lane County provided 5 million pounds of food assistance to nearly 1-in-5 Lane County residents this past year. This was possible in large part, to the generosity of companies like you.
We are grateful for your assistance. Please know that your efforts ARE making a difference in Lane County, Oregon.
Sincerely yours,
Deb Buchanan
